Measure 2.1 Innovation
The measure 2.1 Innovation is aimed at the product and process innovations leading to increase the competitiveness of fisheries organisations through the application of new methods of fish breeding and handling, the introduction of new or significantly improved products, new aquaculture species with good market potential, new or improved management and organisation systems, which will be for beneficiary new or significantly improved.
The measure is focused on testing and subsequent transfer of innovative technologies into use under conditions close to production conditions, with the aim to obtain technical or business experience of new technologies.
The measure is in accordance with Article 47 (1) a), b), c) of Regulation (EU) No 508/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 15 May 2014 on the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund.
Measure 2.2 Productive investments in aquaculture; intention a) Investments in aquaculture
The measure 2.2 Productive investments in aquaculture, intention a) is aimed at investments support contributing to the increase the competitiveness of aquaculture businesses, with the aim of preserving traditional aquaculture and related activities which are important for sustaining and developing business and social structures and the environment.
The measure is also aimed at construction of ponds, energy savings in aquaculture, environmentally sensitive aquaculture and more effective use of resources.
The measure is in accordance with Article 48 (1) a)-d), f)-g) of Regulation (EU) No 508/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 15 May 2014 on the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund.
Measure 2.2 Productive investments in aquaculture; intention b) Diversification of aquaculture
The measure 2.2 Productive investments in aquaculture, intention b) is aimed at support for aquaculture business diversification using the development of complementary activities, with the aim of achieving a marked enhancement of their economic potential, i.e. extension of opportunities and incomes in aquaculture for other forms of business closely related to the production activity in aquaculture, assuming that the complementary activities are related to the core aquaculture business of the enterprise, including angling tourism and environmental services or educational activities concerning aquaculture.
The measure is in accordance with Article 48 (1) h) of Regulation (EU) No 508/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 15 May 2014 on the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund.
Measure 2.3 Support for new breeders
The measure 2.3 Support for new breeders is aimed at access of new organisations and subjects to the aquaculture industry and ensuring their initial competitiveness.
The support will be directed into investments related to establishing aquaculture businesses by new breeders setting up aquaculture micro-businesses or small business for the first time.
The measure is in accordance with Article 52 of Regulation No 508/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 15 May 2014 on the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund.
Measure 2.4 Recirculation systems and flow-through systems with additional cleaning
The measure 2.4 Recirculation systems and flow-through systems with additional cleaning is aimed at promotion of investments in recirculation systems (including hatcheries) and flow-through systems with additional water cleaning.
Investments will be directed into the modernisation of existing or newly established environmentally friendly systems for fish production, supporting the reduction of harmful environmental impacts and improvement in the effective use of resources.
The measure is in accordance with Article 48 (1) i), j) of Regulation No 508/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 15 May 2014 on the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund.
Measure 2.5 Aquaculture providing environmental services
The measure 2.5 Aquaculture providing environmental services is aimed at the re-introduction of the European eel into selected fisheries areas of the Labe and Odra basins.
The measure is in accordance with Article 54 (1) b) of Regulation No 508/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 15 May 2014 on the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund.
