Measure 5.1 Production plans
The measure 5.1 Production plans is aimed at more efficient organisation, planning and aquaculture product marketing and achieving balance between market supply and demand.
It is possible to support preparation and implementation of production and marketing plans, which are the main element of the Common Market Organisation aimed at securing correct functioning of producer organisation and contributing to the aims of the Common Fishery Policy.
The measure is in accordance with Article 66 of Regulation No 508/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 15 May 2014 on the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund.
The measure 5.2 Product marketing; intention a) Creation of a producer organisation
The measure 5.2 Product marketing, intention a) is aimed at improved procedures for introducing measures for rational resource management, creation of added value for aquaculture products and market stabilisation through producers' organisations.
The subsidy may be granted for creating producer organisations, associations of producer organisations or inter-branch organisations to be recognised in accordance with Section II of Chapter II of Regulation No 1379/2013.
The measure is in accordance with Article 68 (1) a) of Regulation No 508/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 15 May 2014 on the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund.
Measure 5.2 Product marketing; intention b) Promotional campaign
The measure 5.2 Product marketing, intention b) is aimed at improving consumer´s awareness of the requirements for healthy nutrition and a healthy lifestyle in relation to aquaculture products. The measure is further aimed at strategy preparation and implementation of regional, national and transnational promotional campaigns on fisheries and aquaculture products and other communication campaigns to improve public awareness of the fisheries and aquaculture industries.
The measure is in accordance with Article 68 (1) g) of Regulation No 508/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 15 May 2014 on the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund.
Measure 5.3 Investments in product processing
The measure 5.3 Investments in product processing is aimed at promoting the expansion, equipping, modernisations of businesses and the building of facilities for the processing.
The subsidy may be granted for:
- contributing to energy saving or reducing the impact on the environment, including waste processing,
- improving safety, hygiene, health and working conditions,
- supporting the processing of catches of commercial fish that cannot be destined for human consumption,
- processing of by-products resulting from principle processing activities,
- processing of organic aquaculture products under Arts. 6 and 7 of Council Regulation (EC) No 834/2007 of 28 June 2007 on organic production and labelling of organic products and repealing Regulation (EEC) No 2092/91,
- new or improved products, new or improved processes, or new or improved management and organisation systems.
The measure is in accordance with Article 69 (1) a), b), c), d), e), f) of Regulation No 508/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 15 May 2014 on the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund.
