Certificate of Conformity of a Product or Activity of a Food Business Operator with Applicable Legal Regulations

An application for a certificate pursuant to Section 3, par. 3, subpar. c) of Act No. 146/2002 Coll., on the Czech Agriculture and Food Inspection Authority (CAFIA) (hereinafter referred to as the "certificate") shall be submitted directly to the relevant inspectorate of the CAFIA. The CAFIA shall base its decision on the certificate on, among other things, previous inspection findings and/or an inspection carried out directly at the applicant's premises. If additional confirmation of the original CAFIA certificate by the Ministry of Agriculture is required (e.g., by a buyer of a food supplement based outside the EU), please contact the Food Department (tel.: +420 221 812 531, e-mail: potraviny@mze.gov.cz) or the Food Safety Department of the Ministry of Agriculture.
