Health Safety Certificate from the National Institute of Public Health (NIPH)

The Health Safety Certificate is issued for a fee by the National Institute of Public Health (NIPH). Upon request, the NIPH carries out:

  • An assessment of the composition of a food supplement in terms of health safety and compliance with applicable legislation (forms of vitamins and minerals, use of plant parts and extracts in relation to traditional use in the EU, amounts of active ingredients in the recommended daily dose, etc.).
  • An assessment of the labelling of dietary supplements for compliance with applicable regulations, including recommended warnings for specific population groups and assessment of health claims used.

More information on the Health Safety Certificate is available on the NIPH´s website Uvádění doplňků stravy do oběhu - SZÚ | Oficiální web Státního zdravotního ústavu v Praze.
