Common Fisheries Policy (CFP) after 2013

Common Fisheries Policy is an EU policy, which brings together a range of measures designed to achieve a thriving and sustainable European fishing industry.

On 13th July 2011, the European Commission presented proposal of a package laying down the new CFP legislative framework and, on 2nd December 2011, it proposed a new fund for the EU's maritime and fisheries policies for the period 2014-2020: the European maritime and fisheries fund (EMFF).
