EU Audits

The coordination of the audit and control missions of the competent authorities of the European Commission (DG SANTE, DG AGRI and DG MARE), the European Court of Auditors (ECA) and the European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF) carried out in the Czech Republic is ensured by the EU Relations Department of the Ministry of Agriculture. The staffs of this department cooperate with the specialized departments of the competent authorities at all levels, the Permanent Representation of the Czech Republic to the EU and the relevant EU authorities. The director of the EU Relations Department is the contact person responsible for communication with the competent authorities of the EU regarding the preparation and coordination of the missions.

The coordination and the preparation of the EU audits are always in cooperation with the specialized departments of the Ministry of Agriculture and the relevant competent authorities. A representative of the EU Relations Department participates in the missions and promptly responds to appropriate findings or additional requirements of EU inspectors and auditors, and ensures that information and requirements are given to the responsible authorities.
